Best Female  Laparoscopic & Colorectal  Surgeon in Bangladesh.

Career:

Dr. Bilkis Fatema has been working in government and private health service in Bangladesh starting from 2003 until 2021. She practices Colorectal Surgery since 2014. In last 7 years she has consulted nearly 15000 (Fifteen thousand) new patients and operated 5000 (Five thousand) patients in private and government’s hospital having piles, fistula, anal fissure, colon and rectal cancer, polyp, rectal prolapse & diverticulitis. She does short or full colonoscopy herself routinely for most of the patient. She has attended many conferences at home and abroad.

Contributions: 

Dr. Bilkis Fatema is Assistant Professor of Colorectal Surgery Department in Dhaka Medical College and Hospital . He successfully initiated various modern surgeries of colon and rectum. Such as double stapling of rectum cancer, Longo operation for Hemorrhoid and successful operation of fistula after having frequent unsuccessful operations .He has been practicing the colorectal surgery for many years.

Such as- pops for ODS, Complete Pelvic floor Repair, Perineal reconstruction along with various operation of pelvic floor disorder.

She has been doing surgery for colon cancer along with anal fissure, hemorrhoid fistula in ano and other colorectal diseases.
